CUSTOM CONVERSIONS:

In most cases, format conversion is a 2-step process. Sometimes, a third step is required and is billed accordingly. Please read on for a more detailed description of the 3-step conversion process...
All steps are billed per FINISHED HOUR.

• STEP 1.) Importing/Mastering -
  In this step, the raw footage in imported into the computer and mastered onto DV or mini-DV tape. The resolution of NTSC native-DV is 720 x 480 pixels, 29.97 frames per second. This DV-MASTER is delivered to the client for use in future projects and it will never degrade or lose quality. (Add'l $14.99 per professional 1-hour mini-DV tape)
• 
  STEP 2.) Rendering/Conversion -
  In this step, the video is either:
  A) converted to another format for export to DVD, DVD-R, CD-ROM, VCD, SVCD or a number of Streaming Web Formats (Windows Media, RealMedia, Quicktime, .AVI, .MPG, .WMV, etc...) Depending on the output format, a third-step may be required. or:
  B) output to an analog video format as raw, untouched footage (i.e. no transitions, titles, effects, image correction, etc...) No third step is required in this case.
• 
  STEP 3.) Exporting/Output -
  In this step, the video is output to its final format. This step is usually only necessary if the project has been altered with non-linear editing. (titles, transition, effects, image-correction, etc...) NOTE: This does not include exporting to DVD format.
